Fwd: CSU Media Internship Program Opportunities 2011

California State University Media Internship Program
csumediainterns.com

Please note that students seeking internships in the Entertainment Industry this spring and / or summer 2011 should apply to the California State University Media Internship Program now. Students interested in an internship for fall 2011 are encouraged to make an early application also.

Part of the Entertainment Industry Initiative funded by the Chancellor's Office, the media internship program provides internship opportunities in a wide range of areas of the media/entertainment industry to statewide CSU students. The program operates through two centers: Internship Hollywood, based at Cal State Los Angeles for internships in Southern California, and Internship Bay Area, based at San Francisco State University for internships in the Bay Area.

Major film studios, broadcast and cable networks, television stations, independent production companies, agencies, etc, have notified us that they are currently accepting students for spring and reviewing applicants for summer.  These are highly sought-after, quality positions.   However, the special relationship that we have established with these organizations during our five years of operation gives CSU students a competitive edge. In order to take advantage of this tradition, they are encouraged to apply to the MIP as soon as possible

Last year, the California State University Media Internship Program provided almost five hundred CSU students with internships in the Entertainment Industry.  We placed students in all sorts of positions: accounting, advertising, talent agency, casting, animation, CGI, gaming, journalism and news, business, camera and cinematography, development, finance, graphic design, human resources, information technology, internet and web design, law, management, marketing, new media, music, post production, production, public relations, radio, reality TV, sales, social media, sports, set design, sound production and post, etc.

The program accepts undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates throughout the year including winter, spring, summer and fall.

Please direct all inquires to csumediainterns.com for application materials and for more information. Or contact us if you have any questions.
