The school year’s almost over, but starting next month AIGA and F+W Media will present “Extra Credit,” a free series of webinars for students, new designers and anyone seeking else a creative boost. Join us on May 19, when Ellen Lupton presents “Graphic Design Thinking: Beyond Brainstorming,” where she will show you designer-tested techniques for releasing creative energy and stimulating fresh thinking to arrive at compelling and viable solutions. Then tune in June 2 as Andrea Marks, author of Writing for Visual Thinkers, will help you tap into your verbal potential—a necessary skill for all designers! And on June 30, Frank Chimero shares insights on making the transition from school to work. The series is free to everyone but AIGA members can register early.
